Projects Description

  • The multi-topic web site was initially developed for hydrocephalus patients in 2007. Traumatic Brain Injury web site was added in 2009 followed by the addition of the Deep Brain Stimulation web site for Essential Tremor and Parkinson Disease patients. The entire site was revised in January of 2021.
  • This multi-topic web site is an educational web site. It answers the most common questions patients and many health care providers have regarding Hydrocephalus, Trauma, and Deep Brain Stimulation for Parkinson's Disease and Essential Tremor. The web site received the Intute Best of The Web award for use of digital technologies in UK education and research.
  • The web site, including the graphics and animations, were all written and created by Dr. Berlad.
